North Fulton Primary Care Welcomes Jacob Varghese, MD, FAAFP
North Fulton Primary Care is proud to welcome its newest provider. Dr. Jacob Varghese is currently seeing patients in the practice’s Holcomb Bridge location.
Dr. Varghese grew up in New York City and completed his Bachelor of Science at Cornell University, followed by a Post-Baccalaureate at Harvard University. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Board Certified in Family Medicine, he was awarded the degree of Fellow of the Academy of Family Physicians for his commitment to medicine, teaching, and community service.
Prior to joining North Fulton Primary Care, Dr. Varghese served as the Medical Director of The Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett. He also serves as a medical director and collaborating physician for the Take Care Health System, working with the medical team of several local Take Care Clinics. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine and at the Georgia Campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Varghese is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, and the Christian Medical & Dental Association. He serves on the Advisory Counsel for Healthy Advice Networks and is published in the 5 Minute Clinical Consult, a medical textbook widely used by primary care physicians.
