North Fulton Hospital is happy to announce two new leaders who will help lead the hospital: Vicky Carroll, Director of Cardiology, and Ann Clawson, Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Vicky Carroll comes to North Fulton Hospital with a passion for cardiology resulting in part from both of her grandfathers’ histories with heart disease and heart attack.  “My maternal grandfather died of his 7^th heart attack in 1970.  With all of the advancements in area of cardiology since that time, I’m convinced that my grandfather would have lived much longer if he was being treated for heart disease today.  My paternal grandmother was also a heart patient, so this is something close to my heart.”

Vicky has big goals for North Fulton Hospital, from adding interventional cardiology to establishing a chest pain program and a women’s cardiac program.  With the support of the senior leadership team, Vicky will work to make these goals reality, benefiting the community as a whole.  Vicky and her husband Julian live in the North Fulton area with their two children, Katie and Jared, and their dog, Buster. 

Former Assistant Director for Rehabilitation Services, Ann Clawson was recently named to be the Director of the department, leading both the Inpatient and Outpatient areas.  Ann has been a dedicated employee at North Fulton Hospital for several years, working closely with the Acute and Outpatient Rehabilitation Service areas.  In her position Ann will directly oversee the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in addition to the Acute Care and Outpatient Therapies, which include physical and occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, hand therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation. 

Ann is enthused about working with the entire North Fulton Hospital rehabilitation team, an outstanding group of health care professionals.  “You will not find a more compassionate, team-oriented group of therapists and support staff in the Atlanta area.”  Ann and her husband Andy have been Alpharetta residents since 1998.  They have two grown children, Jay and Laura.  Outside of work, Ann enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities.
