Hospital Employees Rally to Support United Way

Each year North Fulton Regional Hospital throws its support behind numerous nonprofit organizations that benefit residents of Roswell, Alpharetta and surrounding communities. This year’s United Way employee campaign kicks off today and promises to be filled with exciting and fun activities, all to increase morale and garner participation.

“Each time we’ve done this campaign we try to build on the success of the previous year,” said Jack Rogers, North Fulton Regional Hospital Director of Respiratory Services and leader of the United Way Campaign this year at the hospital. “The more we can do internally to make this a fun campaign, the more employees will want to participate.”

The festivities kicked off today in the hospital café with a balloon pop, where for $2, anyone could purchase a balloon with the hopes of popping it to discover a ticket for a day off with pay.
Other upcoming activities will include:

  • A raffle with the same day-off-with-pay incentive;
  • An opportunity for employees to buy tickets to throw pies in the faces of administrative team members and directors;
  • A silent auction;
  • A pumpkin carving contest;
  • And a tie-cutting contest where for $1, employees can cut an inch off the ties of hospital leaders. That leader left standing with the least left of his or tie will be crowned the victor!

United Way exists to help those in the community when other systems are not sufficient. North Fulton Regional Hospital is proud to support its efforts through pledges from employees and festive events such as those listed above.

North Fulton Regional Hospital (NFRH), part of Tenet Georgia, is a 202-bed, acute-care hospital located on Highway 9, Alpharetta Highway, in Roswell.
