This November 6 marks a milestone for North Fulton Regional Hospital as it celebrates 25 years of delivering care to those in the North Fulton area and beyond. We celebrate the history of quality care and those that have had a hand in its delivery: Thank you to all of our 25-Year physicians, employees and volunteers! The dedication and committment exhibited by these individuals to the patients they serve is what helps to make North Fulton Regional Hospital a leader in healthcare.

Diabetes and Your Weight Don't miss the next program in the Whole Body, Whole Health Seminar Series. Commemorate American Diabetes Month this November with some helpful information on the connection between diabetes and your weight. Hear an NFRH physician speak, and visit with representatives from the American Diabetes Association for some valuable information. BMI and blood pressure screenings starting at 5 p.m.

Kathy Young Appointed Chief Nursing Officer North Fulton Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Young, RN, to the position of Chief Nursing Officer. Kathy began her career in healthcare 25 years ago as a staff nurse in California. Within one year, she was promoted to an orthopedic charge nurse position and later served in other charge positions, including coronary care and PACU. The leadership and drive she exhibited in these positions eventually led to her selection as a nursing supervisor.

AHA Presents NFRH with 2 Gold Awards North Fulton Regional Hospital recently received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines Gold Performance Achievement Awards for Coronary Artery Disease (GWTG–CAD) and Heart Failure (GWTG–Heart Failure). These awards recognize the commitment of all hospital staff and physicians to treating patients with heart-related issues. These two awards, combined with the recent Silver Performance Achievement Award for stroke (GWTG-Stroke), further solidify North Fulton Regional Hospital’s position on quality. The Roswell facility continues to be one of only two hospitals in the state of Georgia and one of only 29 in the country to have reached award status in all three of the programs the American Heart Association supports.

Natural Birth Options: Water Birth When you are planning for a baby, you want to ensure that you are in control of your birth plan. North Fulton Regional Hospital provides expecting moms many options and is dedicated to working with them to make their plan a reality.
