Cardiac Catheterization
A cardiac catheterization is a non surgical test your doctor will perform by inserting a very narrow, soft, flexible plastic tube called a catheter, through a blood vessel and into your heart. The catheter will allow x-ray pictures of your heart to be taken to show how well your heart is working. For more information, please call the catheterization lab at 770-751-2782.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac Rehabilitation offers outpatient cardiac rehabilitation services for people recovering from heart attack or chest pain or for those who are at high risk for cardiac disease. For more information, contact the program coordinator at 770-751-2785 or click here.
Cardiology Services
Dedicated physicians and staff provide invasive and non-invasive services with the latest technology for the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disease. Thousands of diagnostic tests are performed each year, including nuclear medicine, echocardiograms, ultrasounds and EKGs.
| Cardiology Services provides a wide array of diagnostic services including: |
- Cardiac catheterization laboratory including Permanent Pacemakers, Elective Cardioversions,Transesophageal Echocardiograms and Diagnostic Left and Right Heart Catheterizations;

- Echocardiogram, Stress Echocardiogram Treadmill, Contrast enhanced echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Signal Average EKG, 12-lead EKG, 24 hour Holter Monitoring, and Treadmill Stress Testing;
|
- Nuclear Cardiology Thallium imaging stress-testing including: Adenosine, Dobutamine, and Persantine;
|
- Electroencephalogram (EEG).

Services are available on the first floor of the hospital, adjacent to Radiology.

Vascular Services
The Vascular Program is expanding with the recent addition of a new Vascular/Endovascular Surgeon and an innovative imaging angiography system. We are now better able than ever to meet your vascular needs.
