North Fulton Hospital Presents the American Cancer Society with $7,500 Check—
Continues support of Relay for Life as Presenting Sponsor
North Fulton Hospital has once again signed on to be the Presenting Sponsor for the American Cancer Society’s 2011 Roswell Relay for Life. The hospital presented ACS with the sponsorship check today.
Employees and volunteers at NFH have all faithfully rallied behind the Relay for Life cause year after year. The hospital has sponsored the event and provided a walk team every year since it began in Roswell, and the hope is that this association will continue in the coming years.
“Cancer is a major area of concern for us at North Fulton,” said Micah Brown, RN, BSN, Breast Nurse Navigator for NFH. “We are focusing much of our efforts toward our Oncology Program because we all recognize that every person is somehow affected by cancer, whether through family members, friends, or themselves. It’s a prevalent disease that we want to help end.”
Members of North Fulton Hospital’s Relay for Life Team presented the $7,500 check to Erika Perry, Income Manager for the American Cancer Society. In addition to the Roswell Relay, Perry coordinates Relay events in Alpharetta and Johns Creek.
North Fulton Hospital looks forward to participating once again on April 29th at the Roswell Area Relay for Life. Come join us at Roswell High School at 6 pm that evening. For more information, visit www.roswellrelayforlife.org.
