North Fulton Community Charities Names North Fulton Hospital Corporate Partner of the Year

North Fulton Hospital (NFH) was selected today as North Fulton Community Charities’ (NFCC) Corporate Partner of the year.  NFH CEO Debbie Keel accepted this honor on behalf of the hospital.

“The employees and volunteers working at North Fulton Hospital truly are second to none,” Debbie Keel said.  “It would be one thing if the hospital were just sending money to North Fulton Community Charities—that would be good—but it’s the people working here who are making such a big difference.  I am honored to accept this on behalf of the hospital and everyone working in it.”

North Fulton Hospital and North Fulton Community Charities have had a close relationship over the years.  From sponsorships to food drives, to bake sales and toy collections, the hospital has long been proud to support the local charity.  In recent years, the hospital has increased the number of volunteers who participate in NFCC activities as well as the number of fundraising activities taking place at the hospital to benefit NFCC.

NFH is involved with NFCC in many ways throughout the year with programs such as the Race to Feed the Need, the annual Roswell Rise n’ Run 5k Race, Warm Coat Drive, Santa Shop Toy Drive, Bake Sales and Silent Auctions. For 2010, NFH committed to having volunteers every second Tuesday of the month to help NFCC.  To date, in 2010, over 100 NFH staff have volunteered.

North Fulton Hospital will continue to support North Fulton Community Charities in whatever ways we are able,” Keel said.  “There is great need in this community; it would not be right to sit and do nothing.”
