Hospital Hosts Another Successful Bake Sale/Silent Auction to Benefit NFCC
Employees at North Fulton Hospital once again banded together to host a delicious event for a local charity. The hospital’s annual Valentine’s Day-themed bake sale and silent auction raised $1,776 for North Fultonulln Community Charities.
There were cupcakes galore, each with its own intricate design, some even in the shape of ice-cream cones. There were cookies of all kinds, large and small varieties, and elegant cakes for those with fancy taste. There were even treats for dogs. Employees, physicians, volunteers, and visitors alike took time to browse and purchase.
“People have come to look forward to these bake sales,” said Amberlee Moore, one of the organizers of the bake sale and silent auction. “They’ve really gotten into the baking, trying each time to top the last effort. We can always count on a great turnout from staff and others at the hospital.”
This silent auction took on a sports memorabilia theme, featuring such items as an Auburn stadium panoramic, an Alabama stadium panoramic, (positioned far from each other), and a framed, matted print of Bobby Cox’s Farewell Ceremony alongside a memorable ejection.
All funds from this event will support the honorable efforts of North Fulton Community Charities, a valued partner of North Fulton Hospital.
The Valentine’s Day-themed bake sale and silent auction is just one of the many activities North Fulton hospital hosts to benefit North Fulton Community Charities. The hospital also participates in the annual Roswell Rise and Run 5k, golf tournament, and many drives, including those for school supplies, holiday gifts and toys, and food. Employees have also been known to volunteer in the thrift store and other areas of the main office. North Fulton Hospital is proud to be a supporter of such an organization that gives so much back to the local community.
Organizers of the bake sale would like to thank Morrison’s, the organization managing the hospital’s Azalea Café, for the donations of coffee and supplies. Without these items, the bake sale would not have been quite the success it turned out to be.

North Fulton Hospital (NFH), part of Tenet Georgia, is a 202-bed, acute-care hospital located on Highway 9, Alpharetta Highway, in Roswell.
