In its first year participating in the United Way’s shoebox project, North Fulton Regional Hospital collected 192 boxes. Each box was filled with a variety of toiletries and other items.
Employees from every department throughout the Roswell hospital pooled their efforts to fill as many boxes as possible with needed items, from toothpaste to combs, to chapstick and to lotion. Considering this was the first year for the project, organizers had no idea what to expect; the result was a room full of boxes that surpassed every expectation. Employees delivered a total of 192 boxes to North Fulton Community Charities through its participation with this United Way project.
North Fulton Regional Hospital is dedicated to community outreach and providing quality healthcare services throughout the community. The hospital is proud of all of the employees who so generously donate their time, energy, and money to help those in need.
