1983 was a big year, beginning many winning traditions Americans continue to appreciate today, a quarter of a century later. We still observe Martin Luther King Day every January. Microsoft continues to be a dominating force in the computer industry, and the Internet has all but taken over the way we communicate with one another and conduct business. Hollywood couple Hawn and Russell defy odds with their 25-year relationship, and no one can dispute the influence of the McNugget over countless children across the nation. And where did some of these children come from? Why, North Fulton Regional Hospital, of course, which began its legacy of quality healthcare in November of this ever eventful year.
But 1983 is not where the story officially begins…
This November 6, North Fulton Regional Hospital celebrates 25 years of care to the North Fulton community and surrounding areas. Much has changed since 1983, but many things remain the same. As the community has evolved, so has North Fulton Regional Hospital, and we hope to continue to do so to respond to the needs of those we serve.
